What windows and what acquisition bd ?

In my PC i have windows98SE and a old Rainbow Runner G-series
Matrox: with windows i have the problem with big file AVI and the board is bad. Someone can tell me if Windows 2000 fix the problem of big files and what acquisition board can i buy with 200-
300 dollars or euro ?

The problem does not lie with Windows. It is the board that is giving you a hard time playing movie files. To me, it looks like one hell of an old board (with 4MB of RAM or less and with a relatively ancient BIOS).

I can suggest you get yourself a new graphics card. Most current ones, even the budget ones, will play movie files. As to how much you should spend, that depends on whether you need the extra features not found on cheaper cards...

don't work on media files biggest of 2 GB...is it true?
