    ac3 and winxp

i had a problem viewing my ac3 movies on windows xp
i used the same nimo codec pack build 8 that i did
on my older computer without xp. but i only had problems
    with xp.
then i found that nimo pack build 7 worked for xp but the
moonlight odio was removed from build 8 cuz of poor sound
    quality.
so for some reason my computer required this moonlight odio dekoda for ac3 playback on winxp
the problem with the odio dekoda was that it made normal mpeg1
    files produce crackling sounds.
    so i went to :

and downloaded the newer odio dekoda
    extract mlcom.ax to c:\windows\system32
    then click on reg.bat
i hope this helps a lot of u's out there cuz i struggled with lack of help

oh also for a working m2v codec get the vob filters to play .m2v and .vob you can download these here:
    happy g video files
Latest news coverage, email, free stock quotes, live scores and video are just the beginning. Discover more every day at Yahoo!

    the file saves as filters.zip
    just follow the readme
i needed this cuz the mpeg2 filter didn't install from the codec pack for some reason
ive tried other codecs such as the elecard and many other zips that never worked. this will allow every player to view m2vs
