How do u install mpeg2 plugin into tmpeg...svcd doesa only 10% and then stops

hi all i tried to convert svcd to vcd onm tmpeg but it does only the first few minutes how do i install the mpeg 2 plugin? ive got the file but when i run the exe file it does nothing of the insalling sort of thing do i just copy and poaste the file in the folder or anything in paerticular any idea why it only does a few mins of the conversion svcd to vcd

is there another program that will do the job please im tierd of tmpengc.

Put it in your TMPGEnc folder/directory and then doubleclick on it...

This is how i do it setarip

well i just copied the files into the tmpeg folder bud, then when i run the exe file and i c mpeg2 vfapi plugin configuration bit and then i click ok then i load the file in video the svcd theb i load the vcd(NTSC) template and let it run but it only does like for 15 od minuutes and then stops,



Secondly how do i install the mpeg 2 plugin in nero coz i ran the installing file then when i try and reencode from svcd to vcd it says i must install mpeg 2 plugin but i just did.

I'm afraid I'm not aware of any such plugin required for NERO - nor am I aware of any procedure for using NERO to convert an SVCD to VCD...


I'd suggest that you use TMPGEnc as follows:

File>>MPEGTools>>Simple Multiplex

Load your SVCD file

Change mode to "MPEG1-VideoCD"

Enter a new filename in the "Output" box

Press the "Run" radio button

(Do not be concerned about any "Buffer underflow" messages you may see)

Burn (DO NOT ask burning software, such as NERO to CONVERT to VCD, rather merely BURN as a VCD)

NERO has two plugins for mpeg 2. One is an actual encoder plugin the other merely analyzes mpeg 2 file to see if they are svcd compatible.

I typically avoid upgrades until absolutely necessary. Some software that I upgraded, actually turned out to be a shocking downgrade.

do either of you have the nero mpeg2 to mpeg1 conversion plugin please coz looks like i have the analyszer one not the converter one,
