    Program to change keyframe interval?

I encoded some films using a keyframe interval of once every 10 seconds before i realised it didn't make much size difference to add a keyframe every second.
So, my question is, what program can i use to change the keyframe interval?

Depending upon the software used and the video format created, you may or may not have to simply re-encode the video.

Do a Google search for (as one line of inputincluding quotation marks):

    "adding keyframes" AND "video"

This will generate a plethora of possible sources of information...

I'll try that search but i have done similar ones that predominately bring up adobe premier - i'm looking for a cheap/free app that just does the key frames.
The format of my video is DivX. I can redo the keyframes in virtual dub but this will recompress the video and lose some quality even if i use the same settings (i think)

If you use the identical settings in VDub (other than, of course, keyframes), there won't be a noticeable degradation...

Thanks for that. I can get a bit anal about the quality aspect but i'll let try and let it go.
If i begin to worry i have a slight quality loss i can always sit an inch further back from my screen.

"i can always sit an inch further back from my screen."

Or freshly convert again from the original source - with the more frequent keyframe setting...
