    Slow Computer TV Capture video

Hey does anyone know of any software that captures most of the frame of video even with a slow 500mhz computer? I tried a lot of tv capture software, and although it works fine with about 320 x 240 and it looks kinda small on my labtop (1Ghz), and i can't use my labtop to record it because i'm using a pc tv capture card. Does anyone know of a tv capture software that can capture most of the frame at a larger resolution without getting jerky? I don't really care how jerky it looks during the recording though, but the recorded video must be smooth. Thanks

You might be able to get higher resolutions by using the huffyuv codec.
IMHO the best capture software is virtualdub.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.
