Can anyone tell me how to put a downloaded DVD (like from Kazaa) onto a CD-R??
I want to know because I just downloaded Spider-man and I want it on DVD so I can watch it on my DVD player.
If this helps any, I am using DVDcopy plus. thnx!!

I see that youre a newbie, so first of all, u dont download a dvd , u download either an .avi or .mpg movie file which is a dvd-rip and you can convert that to watch on your standalone dvd player. Firstly, get VirtualDub, unzip it in some location to install, then open VirtualDub and select in the file tab: file information. Then post everything you see in the dialog box here. Also, is the extension of the movie .avi or .mpg?
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

Also search on the whole Digital-Digest website:

You need to convert the said file into a VCD-compliant MPEG file, which in turn can be sent into your CD-burner for creation of the VCD.

Open TMPGEnc and launch the wizard. Follow the instructions. Does not get easier than that.
