Saw a similar thread over at the 3DSS forum and thought it's worth conducting over at this forum as well:

What softwares are you using for the respective formats?

DivX/MPEG:
Player: WMP 6.4, BSPlayer
Codecs: Tsunami-patched 3.11, DivX 5.02 & MS MPEG4 V2

DVD:
PowerDVD XP (with registry volume fix + official patch)

MP3:
Winamp v.2.81
-. Decoder: Shibatch mpg123
-. Output : WaveOut Output v.2.0.2a

Massdownloader:
mIRC & KaZaA Lite

Audio CD Ripping:
Ripper: Audiograbber
Encoder: LAME 3.92 (waiting for 3.94); Monkey Audio

Regarding the MP3 decoder for Winamp, if you are using the default decoder that comes installed with Winamp, it is FhG. You need to install the alternative decoders manually (by simply downloading and unzipping the files into the plug-in folder of Winamp, and enabling them).
