    VOB to MPEG

    I've noticed most of the programs out there involve having to convert vob to avi. Adding an extra step. Is there away to convert vob to mpeg? I ripped a dvd from smartripper and tried to convert to mpeg with Tmpgenc and needless to say it didn't work.

      You can use Flask, or Mediator (or numerous similar) with the LSX or BBMPEG plugins to go from .VOB to MPEG1/MPEG2/VCD/SVCD...

          Create an AVS file using GordianKnot, using a VCD-compliant resolution. Load the AVS file into TMPGEnc and you are set to go.
