Is it possible to see if the divx file is encoded with 1-pass or 2-pass ?

The easiest thing to do would be to judge it by its quality. 1-pass encoding is usually not that good, even at 1000kbps.

In 1 pass encodes you may experience macroblocks.

Alternatively, they may have a high bitrate and large file size.
