How to pull out subtitles from video?

Hi!

Can anyone help me to pull out subtitles that are part of the video from video.Not from DVD, from some kinda video that was captured from TV and has subtitles as part of the movie.
Is there a program that will do that?

That's a really hard task to accomplish, since the subtitles are part of the video. The only way you can extract the subtitles is to rip out parts of the video that form the subtitles and overlay it over the video you wish to work on. First of all, there is no tool that will "cleanly" rip the subtitles off without also extracting unwanted parts of the video. Secondly, it is not an easy task to overlay the "subtitled video parts" over the video you wish to subtitle, since you may run into synch. problem and also, the unwanted bits of the video (from the other video) will stick out like a sore rash.
