    TMPGEnc PROBLEM..please help

    so i just got TMPGEnc and when I try to put the video source it says File "C:\WINDOWS\Desktop[tmd]jackass.the.movie.(obus).ts.(1of1).avi"can not open, or unsupported. How do I fix this?? PS I picked the right Frame rate thing (NTSC). Thanks!

    1) Load the file into VirtualDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

      i tryed VirtualDub..I went file, open vedeo fil and it sayed "ERROR couldnt locate MP43 decrompressor, virtualdub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decrompress video. Directshow codecs such as thos used by windows media player, are not suitable" what went wrong now??

        You've provided part of the possibly meaningful information but, after you load the file into VirtualDub and click on "OK" to close the error message,

        From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

        Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

            This is a reference to the original Microsoft MPEG4 codec, which is included in one of the many codec "packs" that you can download by clicking on the DivX Digest link at the top of this page.
