Analog Video Capture - Enhancing Software
Need some advice/suggestions...
I am new to the video editing arena. I have quite a few videos taken with an analog video camera which I am planning on "translating" into DVD or VCD's. I purchased the Adaptec AVC-2200 USB2.0 external capture device (PCI slots are in short supply...) and it works just fine. The challenge is in the software. The unit came with "Sonic MyDVD" as the capture interface and "Showbiz" as the editing piece. I found them both quite limiting, but more important, I think that I'm losing certain amount of quality by going through a dual phase...
I am looking for a decent piece of software capable of editing (really, enhancing contrast, light conditions etc.) in the capture process. Is anything like this available (without taking a second mortgage...)
