    joined mpeg time

I used different program to join mpeg files.
These program works properly but not the joined mpeg files.
They have the right size in Mo but don't play in the right time length.
When I play them, my viewer only play them during the time of the first joined mpeg file.

    Exemple : I join 5 files ( size : 1 Mo, length : 30 sec. / each )
    Result is 1 file ( size : 5 mo, length : only 30 sec. instead of 2min. 30 sec. )
    Thanks for the help

Instead of whatever software and method you use to join the MPEGs, use TMPGEnc as follows:

    File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut

Add files in sequence, save with a new filename (Make sure to set "Mode" properly to either MPEG1, MPEG1-VideoCD, MPEG2, or MPEG2-SuperVideoCD).

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      Thanx very much,

My MPEGs works very well with this software.

      One more question :
Mepgs I've joined before still doesn't work, do I have to use the same software and how in order to correct this problem ?
Is it possible to convert them in order to read them with the correct time length ?

      Thanx again.

        TMPGEnc>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut

Load ONE of your previously joined files. If accepted, simply set your desired start and end points (by using the slider and the "{" for start point and the "}" for end point) and save with a new filename.

(You'll undoubtedly want to select the original MERGE point for your end point)
