VCD MPG-1 Progressive or Interlaced?

When using a Progressive scan DVD player to watch. A VCD made from a DVD RIP should I select interlaced or now interlaced? Which is better?

The "selection" to which you refer, under the "Advanced" tab, is usually made automatically by Flask, to identify that aspect of the INPUT file, not the OUTPUT file...

Anyway, VCD hasn't interlaces structure, because it has only half of lines. It means, that the structure of fields must be progressive. If we talk about SVCD, it's another story
