Problem with Vfapi

Hello,
I am using Vfapi and DVD2 avi to use mpeg2 converted files for video editing in Premiere 6.0 (suposed to be quicker then using directly mpeg2 files)

I make my .d2v without any problems, but when I import them in Vfapi with the add button I get a error box:

then I can only press the ok button and come back to the software again...

Could it be because i'm using NTFS and Win Xp? or the mpeg2 files are invalid? (I acquired them with my Radeon 8500dv)

No vfapi works fine with both WinXP and NTFS.

Make sure that you are using DVD2AVI version 1.76.

Try playing them under a software DVD player, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD...

I'm using DVD2avi 1.82 based on 1.76 and the mpeg2 works fine with wmp and Ati File Player...

Then at least you've now eliminated your concern that the MPEG2 files might have been invalid.

You probably want to follow khp's suggestion and try falling back to the older, purportedly more reliable v.1.76 of DVD2AVI...
