I recently downloaded VFAPI Codec V105 for tmpge to edit some mpeg2 files I made when I notice it added a new template option for my ATI card to capture directly to svcd format, which was previously un-availible. 400/400 41,000 khz. However when I attempt to use that template I recieve a messaged stating im droping frames...I dont have a problem with any other formate "That im aware of". SO I was wounder if there is another codec I should be using to Capture directly to SVCD, or is it best to create an mpeg2 file of higher quality then use tmpge to convert to svcd? If so what resolution would be best for mpeg2 to svcd format?
MY specs are PIII-800mhz 512 megs of ram
32 mb -all in wonder radion AGP
