    need help please, avi green & pixelated now

    Here's the deal, I installed a new hard drive last week and now an avi file that played fine on the old drive doesnt on the new drive. I know its probably a codec prob. but not sure which to install or how to tell which codecs I've already installed ( slept since then

    here is the info on the file, would appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks!

    Use the divx 5 decoder to playback xvid.

    To do this, download the avi4cc changer and change the fourcc codec description and used to dx50

      Use either the plain vanilla XviD decoder from Koepi or FFDShow . . .
