    How can this be done???

    hi everyone,
    i have a question about capturing a stream on the internet. Well not a stream you guys just have to see it yoursefl(pleaseee)

    then for example click the video and then 300 kb windows media.
    now windows media player will start to download the video form a link.
    How can i download the video to my computer?? do i need to use some sort of program or soething???
    I know it is possible because i have seen rips of other movies like this one on kazaa.
    anyone please help
    im getting kinda desperate

    Well, there's a utility called SnagIt I know of that can capture video from you computers desktop but you have to make sure hardware acceleration is turned off in the player you're trying to capture from so it doesn't use the overlay. Also it would be very processor intensive to capture live video as your computer decodes it so you'd need a fairly fast processor.

      walks carefully ...

      I've heard of a tool callled 'vcr' thats floating around that will snatch streamed video files out of the air. From what I've heard it will catch Rm/AVI/WM* and most file types. I wonder if it exists....
