    I tried this new 5.0.3 with the "new" 1-pass ... and all my bitrate calculation went VERY wrong.
    So I went back to the 'original 1-pass" and by bitrate fits again my goal (80 ou 90mn CD)

    Is anyone capable of predicting what is needed for this new item ?

        I have had no luck with one pass encoding. It only works right with nth pass for me. With 1 pass any time there is a big jump in action in the movie ti will screw up the encoding and the bitrate bottoms out bigtime. But it doesn't do that with 2 passes. I haven't tried more than two passes yet to see if it improves the quality but I can't imagine it would be that much better.
