    S-Video/Power DVD/TV/Converter box

    OK...heres my problem....

MY TV has an S video input...but something happened that caused it to not work anymore....

I got a converter box, attached the S-Video from the PC to the box, ran an A/V cable from the converter box to the TV...

Changed it to the right video number, and YIPPEE it worked, i could see my desktop on the TV...

So, now I run power DVD and you can see the window, but nothing inside, that is playing, is visible....

    Same with MEdia player...

    Any ideas?

Try a lower refresh rate on your PC video card, something like 56 or 60hz. Sometimes this clears up the problem you are having.

You might also want to change some settings in the properties of your video adapter. That will depend on what kind of video card you have. In your case right click on the desktop and go to properties->settings->advanced->and see if you can disable the PC monitor display so that you can view it on your TV only. If you are running both the PC and TV simultaneously, that could also be the cause of the blank screen on TV.
