    TMPGEnc Queries

I wasn't sure which catagory these belong to.

    1. What's the difference between "16:9 625 line (PAL)" and "16:9 Display" ?

    2. What's the difference between "Full screen (keep aspect ratio)" and "Full screen (keep aspect ratio 2)" ?

      1. You would use 16:9 625 line (PAL) if the source video was captured from PAL in normal resolution, but was intended for viewing at 16:9 aspect ratio.

16:9 Display is when source is 16:9 video that is not standard NTSC or PAL resolution.

      2. Full screen (keep aspect ratio) is when the video is expanded to fill the screen, but aspect ratio is preserved. Black bars will be added if aspect ratios do not match.

Full screen (keep aspect ratio 2) is when the video is expanded to fill the screen, but aspect ratio is preserved. Black bars will be added if aspect ratios do not match and displays movie size in full screen.
