new dvd -divx from kiss

hy first try . has anyone tryed the new dvd- divx from kiss
tryed 50 divx out of the net 2 worked. this system will only run on divx 4- divx 5 codes,
my question
what programm , do i need. to get a working copy.
question 2
when i convert with davideo 2 it gives me avi - when ripping divx,
is this a dvd avi rip or is this a divx 4 rip

Not sure I understand all of ure questions...I have not tried the Kiss DVD player but I guy I trade with has it..all movies must be divx 4-5 and the pro features of divx 5 must be turned off....this means u will have to be carefull what u download to play on it...or u will have to re-encode the movies u have already dloded to divx5.0.2....i'm sure virtualdub can do this...check on the How To manuals...there is prolly something there....avi files are mpeg4 files but could be divx3-4-5 or xvid...here again use vdub... file properties... to check the files u have and see what they are...
