Roxio releases Easy CD & DVD Creator 6

Released today. It has a new DVD Builder. I wonder what it is like. But at $99 dollars, I think I'll give it a miss.
Make DVD home movies or photo slide shows. Add voiceover, your favorite music, transitions, and animated DVD menus, and burn to DVD, VCD or SVCD to play on your home DVD player.
    More info here.

I got it a week ago and i must say its a huge improvement over the 5 version, which was really buggy and on my newer machine didn't even want to install...

I still think Adaptec made Easy Cd Creator what it is, however don't get me wrong, this new version is very nice

Seems interesting. Easy CD Creator 5 Basic (which I had got legally when I purchased my cd writer ) was simply eye candy, and if provided only the option to burn audio cd's and data cd's.

Easy cd creator is basicaly eye candy, but speaking of the ecdc5 basic, it had only the options to burn audio and data because, well, it was the "cheap" version which you get with your cd-rw drive. You had to pay 70$ for the deluxe, which let you create Video-CD's, among many other audio recordings, such as from a vinyl record.

                        ....downloading warez from networks.

Hoping version 6 of Easy Cdcreator can give some competition to NERO and the free VCDEASY.

Well I own the Deluxe of Easy CD 5 and I would use Nero over that in an instant. ECC 6 would have to be a dam|\| good program to make me switch. I love overburning. Is ECC 6 capable of it?

Yes. Give the basic version a try if you're not sure of about buying it.

I use RecordMax NOW! which imo is better than NERO or Adaptec.
