2 Files Video and Audio! Need to join

Hey I got 2 files that I need to join (an audio and a video) because somehow when I was encoding it didn't pop out at one.

Then I will probably have to sync them... Need some help on that too

Sorry about all the questions lately it's all an 8th grader can do. I am doing good for a 13 year old

(Assuming you're referring to .AVI files, DivX-compressed or otherwise)

As long as the two files are IDENTICAL regarding all aspects of video and audio:


Load the first file into VirtualDub
Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"
From the "File" dropdown menu, select "Append AVI Segment" - and select your second file
Save with a new filename


If they are in any MPEG format, use TMPGEnc instead, as follows:

TMPGEnc>>File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut

yeah but I was thinking complex would be more like this
