How to cut a .mpg file (non-DivX)???

    Hi,
I am trying to cut a large (750 MB) .mpg movie file into two smaller pieces. But NanDub wouldn't do it in Direct Stream Copy mode when I clicked 'Save As'.
In Full processing Mode, the file would have been HUGE (tens of Gigabytes) because it would have been saved in uncompressed form. I'm pretty sure this is not a DivX file (possibly mpg-2).
Is there another tool I could use to cut this file?
    Thanks.

You should have no trouble in burning the mpeg-2 file as an SVCD on one 80 min (700 mb) cd-r/rw.

TMPGENc can cut mpeg-2 files, search this forum for precise splitting instructions.
