    A video from France - Split-screen fades

By the time I got this, the video quality of it had been trimmed a bit, so you are likely to see a little bit of boxing on it. The fades between different images as the video progresses are easy enough, but does anyone know how they do these fades between the split screens? I love the effect and would like to use it.

VDub solutions are preferable if they are possible. AVISynth too. I've been trying to figure out a way to do this for several days, but am just drawing blanks.

    Video from France (1.4MB, asx)

Please note: This is not porn, but some language on it is better kept from children.
It may look like I'm doing nothing, but actually, at a cellular level I'm quite busy.

Someone else complained elsewhere about this, but I deleted my internet cache and tested it and it worked fine.

Here is the link in text format:

http://www.geocities.com/dearbenedic...chansonUSA.asx Geocities can be problematical in this fashion, but if you copy this link to a new window it should work fine. I at least know that the file is out there and intact.

As I said, fades between clips I can do, but superimposing a clip piece over the video with the fade only on the edges of that piece is my problem. I like the effect, but what I have either can't do it, or I don't know how it can.
