    Anyone got a Creative Labs Digital VCR?

    Anyone here got or knows the quality of a creative digital VCR?



    I'm thinking of buying a video capture card but there are so many, i decided to go for one with hardware mpeg2 compression and i just look that Digital VCR has it, just want to know if it is good, if not, can someone recommned me a good capture card with hardware mpeg2 compression?

    I may not be an expert on the subject, but I've seen some very crappy VidCap cards, and some very nice ones, ATI has a pretty solid product, as does Pinnacle (mostly high end). Just keep in mind that for the most part, you get what you pay for. While 99 bucks isn't exactly cheap, the nicer vidcap cards can cost upwards of 400+. As far as a suggestion goes, find a local computer retailer with a decent return policy, so that you can at least try out a range of cards to see what suits your needs. That way, you can find what you like, find it cheaper online, and return it
