    video cd's, can't get colour

I have burned video's to cd with nero and when I play them on my dvd player they are black and white. i have used gspot and nimo and appear to have correct codec's, if that's related. It does not matter if they are mpeg's or avi files, I have ploughed through hundreds of forums to no avail, would someone please give me some advice, thank you.

Since you have burned the vcd's with nero, have you also converted them with Nero?
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

Also search on the whole Digital-Digest website:

I don't know if your dvd player has this function on it or not, but i had the same problem. I told the video format in the player to switch from YUV colorspace to RGB. Digging out the manual may be required. As i have to switch back to YUV when playing a DVD.
      Hope that helps

Er, I'm quite new to this and as I have no shame I will admit that when I burnt at a 4x600 the colour was there. Although now I have lots of other problems, but I have posted them elsewhere! Thanks for your time,
