Convert bin file to avi/mpg file?? split a bin file

Hi,

how do i convert a bin file to a avi/mpg file??

i've tried using Nero and demon tools (using the cue file) and i just get a dat file at the end. The bin is 830Mb, do i need to reduce the size of the bin, if so how??

one way to do it is

I'd use Virtual Daemon to 'Mount' the cue file. Once this is done, your virtual Disk drive should be 'exploreable' under windows allowing you to see the 'mpeg2' folder. Inside you'll file the AVSEQ01.MPG or some such. You can then copy that file out to HD and manipulate it with Tmpenc or other tools.

converting a bin file

I just did one and I used isobuster to extract the data. It will turn the video file into a dat file. Then I renamed it with a filerenamer with an mpg extension. I hope this helps.
