no, my problem was difrent the screen was 4 bit colors and 800 by 600 resolution I need to install the driver again..and I e-mailed the company where I got the cable from to help me out...Thanks for all your help anyways

I never had to install a driver with mine. I really don't know why you do. Just make sure TwinView on your card is DISABLED
