Rolling credits in Premier (or any other prog)

I have a serious problem, I want to add some rolling credits to my newmade movie but I can't seem to get it right. Adobe Premiere's 'Image Pan' is supposed to be able to do this but I keep screwing it up. I'm trying to follow the instructions I find in their helpfile but I still can't get it right! All I get is my overdimensioned picture compressed to fit the screensize of the movie, no rolling-effect at all

Anyone know how to do this in Premier, or any other prog for that matter?
