    Virtualdub Questions

    I'm using VirtualDub v1.5.1 and I'm trying to compress audio in a few moveis. I want to use MP3 format, but recently all of the higher bitrates (higher than 56 KBps) are not available anymore. Any help would be great! thanks

    You need some more MP3 Audio codecs (that support higher bitrats) which can be found on google by a search

      (Assuming you have the Radium [Fraunhoefer hack] .MP3 audio codec installed. If not, download and install it.)

      1) Go to the Control Panel.
      2) Select "Multimedia" (or the Win XP equivalent).
      3) Click on "Audio Codecs". UNcheck ALL .MP3 codecs listed EXCEPT the one that has "professional" as part of its name.
      4) Reboot your system.

      Let us know of your success ;>}
