    Windows-Delayed Write Failed

I got an error message when I convert Avi file around 17.1 gig to VCD format. I was using TMPGEnc and Ulead Video Studio 5.0 to convert. During the conversion, I heard strange noise from my hard drive, it sounds like HDD stopping continously. Then, it displayed " Windows-Delayed write Failed" and other error message. I never come across this message and this is the first time when I convert big file. Need advise. Thank you.

Most programs/operating systems can't use files that are so big. If you captured this file from a capture-card you should better use a software that splitts the video every 2 GB (like VirtualDUB).
