[XP] Xvid plays corrupt on all players

I've got problems with playing several files in all players:
    i've tried WMP8, BSplay, Winamp3, Radlight, DiVxplayer2
installed codecs DivX 5.02, Xvid 4.
No problems with vidsvid3 (used file investigator to get info)
but with vidsxvid image is all blurry, at startup image is already green, that tells me that's wrong.
still-image from time2time good, but when moving it corrupts totally.
GSpot reports no problems, 4CC is XVID, codec is installed, movie should play fine
Even -> it is not; what to do?

Search the forum for help on "xvid" playback related issues.

          Problem solved!
xvid-codec seemed to conflict with the ac3-codec which came with nimo: just uninstalled nimo, installed 3ivx-codec + ac3_068b afterwards and i've got picture and sound perfect...

I've had this problem for ages... I always thought it was a problem on my end. Thank you for the information. Saddly, I just deleted my crappy green vidoes.
