    Output Mpegs with Timecode

I was wondering if it's possible to output an MPEG file to a VHS or 3/4" with VITC...? Basically, I have an mpeg with a burn-in timecode window and I need to put it to tape along with VITC that matches the burn-in window... Any suggestions on gear that I might need or just an easy way to go about this would be greatly appreciated!! THANKS!

The only application that I'm familiar with which produces SMPTE on exporting to tape is Premiere, which uses SMPTE timecode to display hh:mm:ss:ff format. Presumably your wanting to export mpeg-2. Premiere supports both drop and non-drop frames SMPTE time code.
