    How do I join DVX avis with their audio wav file?

    I have managed to rip all the .vob files of a dvd movie and then convert them to dvx .avi file with DVD2AVI software. I was able to save the vob files as one dvx .avi file because I have the codecs installed and it gave me the option just before I saved the avi file If I wanted the avi file to be full frames, uncompressed, MPEG4 microsoft and DVx. SO I assume it was done correcly.

    The quality is very good but the audio track out of the vob files was created seperatly in a .wav file. So I have one big avi file of the movie and another with the audio (wav) I want to join the two together so is there a software or encoder to do this? I used TMPEGenc but it will only do it as a Layer 1 MPEG and the quality is shit! I want my dvx avi t have audio. Is it possible?

    Virtual Dub does the trick

    Open your avi
    video ---> direct stream copy
    audio ---> full processing mode ---> compression ... (whatever -maybe MPEG layer 3 ......128 kBit/s 44.100Hz stereo)
    audio ---> WAV Audio ...(your wav-file)
    file ---> Save as Avi...

    Done

    Working...
