    JVC GRDVL100 problem

    hi. when i turn the camera on it says its in safeguard mode and to turn it off and put the battery in again. This doesnt seem to work though. I dont have a manual and cant find one on the internet. Does anyone know what to do or can help?

      1) Is the battery fully charged?

      2) Are you able to use it by using the cable (plugged in to your house electricity) provided to power directly from the charger?

          nah the battery is fully charged and it has the same problem when connected to the adapter. any ideas?

              Forgive the interruption, but a group of almost 50 of us JVC camera owners in 10 different countries are planning on taking JVC to court via a class-action lawsuit. If interested, I can give you more details if you email me. Basically, we all have one of some 23 camera models that show the E04 / REATTACH BATTERY / UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE problem, and believe this problem has been known to JVC for years and still they expect people to pay for repairs.
