??codec pack compatible for windows media player 6.00.02.0902??

What codec pack will provide me the capability of installing onto a windows media player 6.00.02.0902? I want to pick and choose my codecs and to be able to prevent pointless details to be added to my start menu. Ablsolutely no spy/ad ware allowed.
does anyone know of one that is recommended? It has to have a playback filter that works for wm8 and divx5.0.* or better.

in codec packs like Nimo or tsunami, u can choose which codecs u wanna install

i think media player will recognise any codec that you installed into the computer. So it doesn't matter, as long as it is your intended codec.

as i said in the other post, don't use codec pack as it is not updated as often as the codec is, but i heard most people did use nimo or tsunami.

I'd say you need separate codec install, but for watching movie, FFDShow is great. Free and lot's of feature and no spyware as far as i've used them. If this doesn't work, probably, you need to download codec separately, like Xvid and DivX 5.*
