    freezes during play...

I use gk and divx 5.05 to encode, when the movie is still on my pc it works great, but when i burn it (using easy cd creator at 8x speed, burn as a data cd) and play it, during the movie there are some parts that freezes, any suggestions?

Try burning slower, preferably at 8x, and even try changing media - it might be the dvd player which doesn't "like" the brand you are using.

Certain dvd players don't play certain types of media very well.

Say, and APEX dvd player won't play Verbatim CD-R's very well... (NOTE: ONLY an example).

            To scdlcgs

Try running a CD/DVD cleaning disk on both your burner and your DVD ROM. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US...

You might try uninstalling Easy CD Creator and installing the 30 day free trial version of NERO instead (Uninstalling Easy CD Creator is imperative, since its files "don't get along well" with NERO's)...
