I recently downloaded a video and the file extension is .mpg. I tried to burn it to vcd using nero, but it said that it wasn't in an acceptable format. I checked it using gspot and it said that the file type is "ASF(.wma/.wmv)" and that the stream type is "video/x-ms-asf". Since I'm new to this I'm a little confused. What should I do to be able to burn this to vcd? Do I need to convert the file to some other format first? If so, which conversion tool should I use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use TMPGenc to convert it to the standard VCD format, then simply burn your vcd with nero.Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:
