    burning speed question

I used to use easy cd creator to burn my divx movies with a 8x speed, now im using nero, using the same speed, but some of my old movies (the ones that i burn with easy cd) have some problems, like freezing. I was wondering if the speed of burning has anything to do with this kind of problem, and if i burn at a slower speed, would this be better?

yeah, i know that, but, what im trying to say if there is that much difference between burning a movie at 8x and 4x... is it really that much?

Essentially, the faster you burn your CDs, the more likely errors will occur. However other factors come into play such as quality of media, the quality of your burner, and how much buffer space you have. Their really is no concrete difference between speeds. It's all just probability really. You can have just as many errors at 1x as you would 12x it just wouldn't be as likely. My advice is unless you're in a hurry burn your CDs slower. Slow enough so that you're confident you won't have problems.

hmmmm... well i burn my cds at 32x and have no prbolems with divx moviez... so it's more of the media quality i guess... dysan's, tdk's, mediastore's, all work good...
