    The problem is caused by your underpowered system.

    1) Lower your DESKTOP resolution (to 800x600 or even 640x480)

    2) Lower your DESKTOP colordepth to 256 colors

    3) Turn off all unnecessary programs that may be running in the background

        It might be time to consider purchasing a higher powered system...

            FyEr_17,

            Any recent CPUs (in a given system) will be able to cope with playback of most video files (except for the ultra high-resolution ones, which are still rare anyway). Just make sure that the system that you are going has a CPU rated at a minimum of 1GHz.

              so it`s like this i found out how to see large movies with high quality on my CPU i done this:

              - i opened the virtual dub and changed the audio type to wave and save it;
              - after that i opened the TMPGenc and on the source file i put the video(avi) and on the audio i put the wave i saved from the movie
              - then i encoded the movie to mpg and the movie is now okay.

              if anyone had the same problem with them movies just do this and the movie works correctly.

              good luke to you all

                Hmmm... hardly seems worth the effort. You might as well borrow someone else's computer to watch it.

                Haven't tried it but wouldn't lowering the desktop colour resolution affect the colour depth of the movie? Hmmm....
