Viewing Movies from Hard Drive

I recently downgraded from a laptop with a DVD drive to a smaller laptop that only has the DVD drive on the docking station. Will DVD Shrink allow me to watch movies played from my hard drive and not a CD or DVD drive? If not, any suggestions on what to use to do this as I would like to be able to watch my DVD ons my laptop when I am on a plane.

DVDShrink is a program for compressing and/or duplicating DVDs. As such, it has absolutely nothing to with your ability to view movies - from any source...
