    From VHS to .AVI?

Hiya! With an RCA input, I can record either in .mp2 or .mpeg. I would like to know which is best to eventually transfer to a DIVX-ed .avi or to a VCD.

Also, I know that VDub can convert .mpegs, but I couldnt get a mp2 into it. I also know that mp2 is beter quality, so if there is a way to transfer fomr mp2 to another formet with Vdub, lemme know (or tell me where else to look please)

    Thanx

Well, If you want to save a CD space, than you can keep your movie at DivX format. If you want to playback on an ordinary player, then you should keep your movie at MPEG2 or MPEG1 format.

To convert MPEG2 to AVI or MPEG1, you can use a freeware tool called FlaskMPEG !
