Opinions on Sony TRV19 camcorder?

I am trying to decide on whether to buy a Sony Trv19 camcorder.
Does anyone have any experience on the video quality. I will be using it to film climbing , snowboarding and other sports activities.
The lightweight aspect of the Mini DV is appealing . I am a little dissapointed that it only has a 10 x optical zoom , however . The Trv250 seems a bit heavy after holding a while .

Well in my opinion, I suggest you to buy Sony DCR-TRV33 (the latest model from MiniDV). Same spec and weight (About 500gr only) with TRV19.

If you upset with 10x Optical zoom, then you can double it with Telescopic lens VCL-2030S for Sony DCR-TRV33. Now you had 20x optical zoom. I think it more than enough for you.
