    Help with recording

    Hi there,

I've only just had a TV tuner card installed into my computer, which has an AMD Athlon XP chip, speed is 1.8 ghz, 512 DDR RAM and 80 gig hard drive.

I've been trying to record uncompressed AVIs which I later convert to Divx's via Virtual Dub and MPEGs, but every time I play it back, the audio is in sync at the start but as it plays on, it goes out of sync. The tuner I'm using is a Leadtek WinTV 2000. My friend who has the same tuner was able to solve it by downloading and installing a few fixes.

Is it possible and if so, where can I get them. If not, what do I do.

    Please help?

    Many thanks

Your friend should, therefore, be the best source for accurate information...
