how can i take divx to single dvd+r

Hello, I need help fitting my divx 700mb movies to a dvd+rit keeps saying that I went over 4.7gigabytes, can anyone help me?

Save the oversized DVD to your hard drive - and then use DVD Shrink to compress it...

The instructions I provided were based on believing you had already converted your .AVIs to compliant DVD format and files.

Are you converting the .AVIs to DVD format, or do you simply want to burn your .AVIs onto a DVD?

If you simply want to burn as many .AVIs as possible onto a DVD-R, make sure the total combined filesize doesn't exceed 4,464Mb (or approximately 4.36Gb)...
