Please HELP!!! Can't play my region 2 dvds anymore!!

I have a dell lap top inspiron 8200 which is set to region 1. in the past I used a program called remote selec211 from this site http://www.remoteselector.com/ to watch my region 2 dvds via cyberlinks powerdvd. However I have just installed a usb creative mp3+ usb device and the program doesn't work anymore.
In the past I have tried reinstalling power dvd which seemed to do the trick but that doesn't seem to be working this time please help me.

Uhhh... first it would be good to know what DVDdrive
you have. I know that this notebook comes with an optical drive bay but not sure if you have a dvd drive or a dvd/cdrw combo.

anyway....
1) have you tried to uninstall that mp3+ usb device
(that means remove it also from device manager, not only physically, along with the driver and accompained software temporarily)

and checked if the problem persists?

just try it and play your usual trick again and see if you can rechange you region code again

2) are you sure that that
remote selec211 program lets you change your region code as often as you want? how many times did you do it??
might it be that you just reached your limit of allowed changes??
