    Recording Digital Video from Directv

Hi. What hardware do I need to record stuff from my directv reciever?

I have s-video out and rca's for sound.

If I use a video capture card, I can record movies and show's, right? How about the audio.. Do I need to do that separateley?

is there a piece of hardware that can do audio and video together?

I realize this website is more about dvd's and conversion but this is the closest I could find on what I want to do. If you know of another place with helpful info for me please let me know.

Your capture card probably has both video and audio-in connections (it may have even come with an external cable connector with three input jacks - yellow for video and red and white for audio)...
