Panasonic PV-DV200D Camcorder

I used to be able to connect my camcorder to my pc and with the link software be able to download video and still pics when I had my older computer with Win98. I now have a newer Dell with WinXP and I cannot get the software to work. I have downloaded the correct executables from Panasonic, but once I have the camcorder connected and run the file, it says that it cannot find it connected.

Any ideas?
